Early to Rise Challenge. Make a Plan for Your Day

This entry is part 3 of 21 in the seriesEarly to Rise Challenge

Early to Rise Challenge

We’re back in the Early to Rise challenge. I’m not sure if I was supposed to take the weekend off but I did. And did you know I took a nap yesterday??!!! I wasn’t planning too but at my mother’s house no less I dropped off! I never nap so this is my body saying it needs more sleep.

In Andy’s Book (Early to Rise) he says to sleep less until you find out how much sleep your body needs. My body needs all the sleep it can get and my going to bed late, getting up early is not helping it. So I’m going to work harder at shutting off the midnight oil earlier.

Now what do you do with that nice new morning time? Andy says make a plan. Get something done. Be creative. Get some reading done.  For me my morning time is the time to get some things done. I don’t work on Sundays so I have a slew of work details to finish up so I can be fully in the homeschool day (rather than my mind wandering).

I’ve got an article on my main site about planning your day (specifically for homemakers). It’s called Don’t Let Lack of Planning Rob You of Your Day.

How’s your morning?

Have a great day!
