Today was a test of my abilities and I didn’t do so well. It was an evening that ended later than I would have liked so I ended up getting up at 8 instead of 7. I did wake at 6 to wish my husband well but alas back to sleep went I.
But I’m not going to let this derail my plans. It was only 3 or 4 months ago that I was struggling to wake at 8. I come from a family of night owls and this pattern is hard to break. I worked hard and now waking at 8 is what my body does naturally.
Now it’s time to train my body to naturally wake at 7am.
Today is day 5 in the challenge. Andy wants us to drink our coffee black. I don’t drink coffee so that’s off the plate for me.
But I’m not going to give up. There’s always tomorrow!
Here are my goals I hope to achieve by the end of this challenge…
1) Get up one hour earlier
2) Exercise for 15 minutes in the am
3) Eat a good breakfast and take my vitamins
Happy Morning (it’s still am where I am)
