It’s been a busy but good week.
In homeschool we’re reading about horses, studying money in math, spelling words in the oil family and learning about force in science. For some reason the days are running smoother and we’ve been ending a little earlier. Sweet Peanut says she wants to wake up earlier but we keep telling her she has to go to bed earlier.
I sewed a little bit on my project dress for Sweet Peanut. It’s taking me forever because I’m not that motivated. I’ll finish it but I need to take away my deadline. It’s another jumper from the Oliver + S Music Box pattern.
We’ve been eating healthier this week. Lots of fish and veggies. I got inspired after reading my latest issue of Whole Living and this particular article. I baked a sweet yam. Lighter than a sweet potato, or actually a sweet potato and sweet potatoes are yams…. I get so confused. Anyway it’s lighter in color than what people call sweet potatoes and it’s sweet like them. I’m going to try and make a soup from the leftover.
I’m continuing to declutter and that’s not fun but still a good idea.
Have a good weekend!
