Moneysavingmom 4 weeks to an organized home

Today is Day 14 of 4 Weeks to a More Organized Home {simplified}.

Today’s Assignment via MoneysavingMom

  • Get dressed in something that makes you feel great {there’s something about dressing in clothes that make you feel great that just gives you more energy and zest for life! Get your free copy of SarahMae’s ebook, Frumps to Pumps, if you need more motivation in this.}
  • Sit down with a cup of coffee or tea, refer to your list of weekly goals, and make a list of no more than 5-7 specific things you want to accomplish today.
  • Set the timer for 15 minutes and clean the mirrors and glass doors in your house.
  • Clean out your utensil drawer(s) (those with serving spoons, ladles, spatulas, etc.) in the kitchen and your junk drawer(s). Take everything out, throw out the trash, get rid of extra clutter, wipe out the drawers, and re-organize the contents as you put them back in.
Now if you don’t have any goals or a To-Do list visit Crystal’s post about goals here. oals are good things to have even if they are small and seem insignificant.
I woke up with a bit of a sore throat this morning so I’m taking it kind of easy. I’ll probably clean the glass doors but that’s it. I cleaned the mirrors yesterday and did the utensil drawer when I cleaned the silverwhere drawer here. We don’t have a junk drawer in our kitchen. Too tiny. I have three drawers. Sliverware, utensils, and towels with dish cloths.
And why didn’t anyone tell me my images from yesterday’s post were backwards?!!!! Solved that so check the update.
I’ve also been reading through my copy of Frumps to Pumps and today I decided to change from my usual stud pearls to some dangly earrings. Even in my slightly under the weather they did make me feel a bit better.
Well that’s all folks. Sorry so limited.

  1. Look at you changing up your earrings- Ha! Hope you’re feeling better today.

  2. I really need to make time to read that e-book! Maybe I should put it on my goals list? I hope you are feeling better.
