I have never seen any bugs in my lettuce, not the lettuce I grow myself nor the lettuce I buy from the store. Perhaps I'm lucky, or then I have eaten a lot of bugs not knowing they are there. I might wash it quickly with running water if it's dusty or grimy, and then spin. LOL I usually don’t.
