Couponizer, Coupon Organizer, Holiday Giveaway – Closed

Winner: Congratulations! Number 5, Lynne Kinsey was chosen randomly out of the hat (well big empty lego box). It was interesting to read all the posts and I’m glad the winner wasn’t chosen by the one that tugged my heart the most because that would have been too hard to choose.  This was a really useful giveaway and my thanks out to Amy at  The Couponizer for sponsoring this.

Lynne contact me at home (at) homemakingorganized.com with your mailing information.

UPDATE-UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who entered! You all deserve to win but…. My lovely assistant is jumping up and down to pick a winner so we’ll be back shortly (waiting music here)…

UPDATE: A reader has kindly pointed out to me mistake in contest dates. My excuse is we have a lot going on at home (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc) and even though in my mind the contest was supposed to end today I have been saying yesterday the 7th. So in case you wanted to enter but thought it was over I’m extending the giveaway until tomorrow (Wednesday December 9th and I looked at the calendar and checked with my husband to make sure) at noon.

My deepest apologies…

It’s a wild time to be having a giveaway but Amy over at Couponizer.com is feeling generous so let’s partake!

What is a Couponizer?  Couponizer

A Couponizer is a complete coupon organizing system to help you organize and actually use the coupons you may see on a daily basis. After MUCH trial and error and a specific desire for something small and compact I enjoy my Couponizer. I have had it for some time. You can read my review here and see a couple of my personal pics here. And yes I became an affiliate. So my links within this post to the site are affiliate links (which does not change the cost).

Currently I use a 3-ring binder and tape my coupons to copier paper. I have it separated into categories, but it is just really bulky to carry to the store. I would love to have a couponizer.

My coupons have no current organization, they are stashed in a drawer and I have to dig through to find what I am looking for, this would be awesome.

    Lynne Kinsey says:

All my friends call me “The Coupon Queen.” When coupons were more prevalent and we had stores that doubled coupons, I used to use a tremendous number of coupons and get my groceries for almost free. Currently there are fewer coupons circulating, they are shorter dates and smaller monetary amounts. That hasn’t reduced my efforts at cutting and organizing coupons. Your couponizer would help me tremendously. Being a stay-at-home Mom means I do not have a regular income and watch what I spend money on. Your Couponizer will help me become better organized.

I’m with Diana R. I just keep the ads piled up and pull them when I see a good deal mentioned on a blog.

    Jenilee says:

My biggest problem seems to be *using* the organizer once I have all my coupons filed. I don’t know if perhaps I haven’t found the right system yet or if I’m just lazy (I’m also about 6 months pregnant :) , but I can’t seem to stay motivated to keep the coupons properly filed. Not so good, considering that with soon-to-be 4 kids on one income, EVERY penny saved is a penny earned!

    Kristie says:

I really love organizing, but still haven’t be able to put all my coupons together in an organized way. I recently went from the “piles of coupons in envelopes” method, to the “coupon inserts in a folder” method. Still can’t find em when I need em! Would love to have this!

I have used a 3×5 index card box with self made tabs for several years. Same type of thing my mother used when I would go with her to shop as a child. I am open to trying something new for the many coupons I use each week! Thank you for this contest.

    Michelle says:

I use an accordion file to store my coupons. My only problem is there is not enough slots for all the categories I have so groups are doubled up and I have to rummage through them when I am looking for a certain coupon. I have read about the Couponzier and would love to have one.

    Linda L. Paro says:

I use an envelope so I have to go through all my coupons to find the one I want. I have tried different ways to organize them, but nothing seems to keep them organized. This one seems to be a good way to get organized.

    Christina says:

My coupon system involves one of the accordion holders for all the coupons sorted by the aisle order in my local Super Walmart.
I pull the ones I know I’ll use and put them in a regular envelope that I’ve stapled my list to (also sorted by aisle).
Both come to the store with me and they fit perfectly in the seat with my pocketbook.

I think the couponizer would be perfect for my daughter who has tried my system and it just doesn’t work for her. With 1 little one and another on the way she can use all the help she can get. :-)

    Carolyn says:

I currently use the same 3×5 card box that I started with 25 years ago. It works well for me just because I’m so used to it and I known right where to look for what coupon, but I do think I’ve outgrown the size. Thanks for not only offering this neat giveaway but also extending the date!

    Angela says:

I try to get around to clipping coupons (am better now that an organization I am part of sends unused coupons to military bases overseas for use in the commissary), but even when I have clipped them, I’m terrible about forgetting them at home or forgetting to use them. I have 6 kids and my family is working to recover from my husband being out of work for 14 months so this might be just what I’m looking for to help me quit throwing away money I could be saving! Thanks for the giveaway & deadline extension!

My coupons are so disorganized. I dutifully clip them and then almost never use them. Would like help in organizing them.
